Woven Lauhala Necklace

$152.00

"Lau" meaning "leaf" in the Hawaiian language refers to the leaves of the Hala tree which in Hawaii (and many Pacific cultures) are woven to create useful items such as baskets, mats and hats. Our family did a Lauhala collection of sterling silver jewelry in the 1980's and 1990's, and I have decided to update and create a new version of Lauhala jewelry for Tidepool Love. Made of solid sterling silver then heavily dipped in 14 karat gold. The chain is made of 14k goldfill and adjustable from 20-22", a little longer than we usually make our necklaces, this is a perfect to layer or wear alone as a statement necklace!
