Back in the 80's and 90's our mother had a jewelry line shown in galleries around the country and her pieces were always related to the flora and fauna in Hawaii. One of our favorite pieces from her collection (called Manoa Designs) was her hand-cut Breadfruit design. The 'ulu (Hawaiian breadfruit) was a staple in the Native Hawaiian diet and the round fruit with its beautiful large leaves is readily recognized in Hawai`i and throughout Polynesia. We have resurrected our mother's 'ulu design as part of our 2017 Rainforest Collection. This bracelet features a handcut `ulu leaf and fruit, framed with double wrapped chains and mini puka shell at the end. Adjustable from 7"-8". It is comfortable to wear and a piece to pass down from generation to generation. Solid Sterling Silver, heavily dipped in 14k gold (called "Gold Vermeil"), chains and clasps are all 14k goldfill.
